I love heat sacks. Perfect for dull aches and pains, warmth, comfort, cuddles, nice smells, muscle relaxant. Much better in winter than an electric blanket. Much prefer a heat sack. Want to make my own but never got round to it …
It’s a small irritating sound but I’m so grateful that when I forget to turn off the lights in my car it goes “beeeeeeep”. Thanks car.
It’s not a grand feeling when the tyre on the car pops and I’m left limping the car to the side of the road accompanied by the smell of burning rubber. Thankfully the is the RACV. I don’t remember the last time I changed a tyre and I certainly don’t feel confident doing it with the lack of traffic / my body separation. Fortunately the sun is out and I have a great view of the reservoir. If only there was a toilet nearby, no work to go to and a picnic basket, a book and some wine … it would be quite pleasant.
There is something special that happens in the moments when people actively listen. It feels good to be quiet and hear what is being said … not waiting for a space in conversation so that I can start talking again. And to have someone listen openly and honestly – to know that she/he hears me. It makes a world of difference. Particularly on the days when the world doesn’t appear as bright anymore.
